Ground Type Explained
Ground is the only type immune to Electric. Its attacks hit five types for 2× — Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock and Steel — tied with Fighting for the most, but Flying types are immune to Ground moves.
Against a pure Ground Pokémon, lead with Water, Grass and Ice moves and avoid Poison, Rock and Electric. Against a Ground dual type the answer changes, because the second type can cancel a weakness or stack it into a 4× hit — use the Pokémon type calculator to check any exact combination.
